Online suicide-related information in Hong Kong: perspectives from youth suicide prevention

Abstract

This paper systematically examines suicide-related information on Hong Kong websites based on a review of the challenges and opportunities presented by the Internet for youth suicide prevention. It discusses potential influences from these websites and ways we can cope with them. The paper anticipates providing a benchmark for further research and practice on online suicide prevention in Hong Kong. 本 研 究 綜 述 了 互 聯 網 為 防 止 青 少 年 自 殺 帶 來 的 挑 戰 與 機 遇 ， 並 第 一 次 對 香 港 網 上 有 關 自 殺 的 訊 息 進 行 了 系 統 梳 理 分 析 ， 討 論 了 各 類 訊 息 可 能 帶 來 的 影 響 和 相 應 的 對 策 建 議 ， 希 望 為 前 線 工 作 人 員 和 相 關 的 研 究 學 者 提 供 參 考 。
