AbstractAn unprecedented 2-D Cu-S network is constructed by self-assembly coordination between Cu(i) and 4-hydroxythiophenol and its structure was determined by using powder X-ray diffraction data. The self-assembled coordination network displays ionic behavior with a bulk electrical conductivity value of 120 S cm -1. © 2010 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
