Dr Lee, Jung Jae Jay
Dr Jay Lee is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, The University of Hong Kong. Dr Lee is a registered nurse in both South Korea and New York, USA. He started his early career as a nurse in Samsung Medical Centre, South Korea, and in his five years there, he was inspired to develop his passion and research interest in nursing studies. He went on to pursue his Masters and PhD in Nursing Studies at the University of Edinburgh’s School of Health and Social Sciences from 2010 to 2016. Dr Lee focused on qualitative and mixed method research strategies in the research topics of nursing education, particularly clinical placement education and simulation-based learning, cognitive informatics in nursing fields, and socio-cultural factors in nursing education.
