Dr. Chan joined the University Department of Medicine as Clinical Assistant Professor in Cardiology in 2014. He received his training in internal medicine and cardiology in Queen Mary Hospital and was subsequently trained in coronary and structural heart disease intervention in Royal Brompton Hospital, London, United Kingdom. His main interests are pharmacological and interventional management of acute coronary syndromes, and coronary intervention focusing on chronic total occlusions and various intracoronary imaging techniques. His current research interests also include screening for atrial fibrillation and antithrombotic therapies for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation.
