Dr Sun, Chui Fun Rachel 孫翠芬
Dr. Rachel Sun is Assistant Professor, Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong. She is a Principal Investigator of school misbehavior research studies, and Co-Principal Investigator of positive youth development programs and a service leadership program. Her research areas include academic achievement motivation, school satisfaction, life satisfaction, positive youth development, problem behavior, school misbehavior, adolescent suicidal ideation and psychological health. Her work appears in Educational Psychology, British Journal of Guidance and Counselling, Journal of Adolescence, Journal of Youth and Adolescence, Adolescence, Pastoral Psychology, Social Indicators Research andTheScientificWorldJOURNAL.
Dr. Sun teaches in the areas of psychology of teaching and learning, and child and adolescent development. In terms of community and academic services, Dr. Sun is an executive committee member of the Society of Boys’ Centres, and school management committee member of two schools in Hong Kong. She is a member of the editorial board of Research on Social Work Practice. She has been a reviewer of several international refereed journals.
