I work as a geologist/geophysicist at the University of Hong Kong. Currently, my main research interests are: (1) India–Asia collision system; (2) Emeishan large igneous province of south-west China (its generation mechanism, and cause–effect link to the mid-Capitanian mass extinction); (3) Permian breakup of eastern Gondwana; (4) Mesozoic–Cenozoic biogeography.
