Objectives
In functional analysis and its applications function spaces play a prominent and central role. The object of the research is to relate the geometry of state spaces to the analytic and algebraic structure of function spaces. Knowledge of the interplay between these structures will lead to a deeper understanding of the fundamental properties of function spaces, including their isometric properties.
