Objectives
To establish a real-time computer laboratory system for the investigation of handwriting and calligraphy with the most advanced system design and behavioural measurement; to investigate behavioural, aesthetic, and psychophysiological aspects of handwriting and Chinese calligraphy; to enhance further the significance of our pioneer work conducted so far at the University of Hong Kong which will have impact on the theoretical development for the field of graphonomics; to enhance the strategic significance of the area of basic graphonomics research as well as practical applications of research findings in such areas as behavioural medicine, psychiatric treatments as well as health-related enhancement.
