Objectives
A study of the significance of a particular primary source in the history of education and more specifically of the curriculum, and language use in Hong Kong, paying special attention to its implications for an understanding of Hong Kong society at the beginning of the twentieth century, in a form suitable for publication (either as a discrete article or as an introduction to a reprint edition of the book English Made Easy by Mok Man Cheung, Hong Kong, Kwong Hop Yuen, 1905).
