Objectives
Eradication of Helicobacter pylori has been been shown to reduce the relapse rate of duodenal ulcer afte initial healing. It is not known if eradication of Helicobacter pylori without using an anti-ulcer agent will heal duodenal ulcer. This has important aetio-pathogenetic implications. This double-blind placebo-controlled study will examine efficacy of multiple antibiotics in the healing of duodenal ulcer.
