Objectives
To find a viable & permanent substitute for the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which is the most important and most frequently injured ligament in the human knee. ACL deficiency results in instablility of the knee, with resultant recurrent injury, especially in active individuals. Adequate ACL substitution aims at prevention of such injury & returning the patient back to competitive sports.
