Objectives
To examine whether a combination of comprehensive acupuncture therapy (CAT) and a caregiver-performed acupressure protocol called ‘Comfy Acupressure for the Elderly (CAE)’ could produce greater and broader improvement than either CAT or CAE alone in preventing and treating cognitive deterioration and in reducing elderly frailty-related symptoms in community-dwelling aged people with dementia.
