Objectives
Glaucoma, a major cause of irreversible blindness worldwide, is usually diagnosed late due to poor understanding of the underlying genetic and molecular basis of disease development. We aim to develop Pdzd2-deficient mice as an animal model of glaucoma that would aid study of disease mechanism, and design of diagnostic and intervention strategies.
