Objectives
1) To explore the depth and breadth of BIM use on public sector projects in Hong Kong that have explicitly mandated BIM; 2) To identify the main digital access barriers to adopting BIM in general contracting SMEs and evaluate the effects these barriers to access have on general contracting SMEs’ ability and willingness to become BIM compliant; 3) To evaluate the severity and resilience of the identified digital access barriers to BIM adoption and identify appropriate measures that could potentially alleviate them.
