Objectives
1 To investigate whether or not Rap1 increases the susceptibility to myocardial I/RI in type 2 diabetic rodents (in vitro, in vivo). 2 To observe whether or not Rap1 regulates cardiac energy metabolism during myocardial I/RI in type 2 diabetic rodents. 3 To assess whether or not Rap1 modulates cardiac metabolism in the context of myocardial I/RI through Rap1/ PPARĪ±/ CD36 signaling.
