Objectives
1) To review the current community resilience practices and their strengths and weaknesses; 2) To identify essential built environment systems and components sustaining a community and conduct interdependency and cascading impact analysis; 3) To devise a set of resilience metrics for communities in developed high-density cities; 4) To develop an ensemble framework to facilitate communities conducting resilience initiatives and making informed decisions towards continuous improvement; 5) To implement a big data enabled software prototype system based on the proposed ensemble framework for community built environment resilience; 6) To validate the resilience metrics, the ensemble framework and the software prototype.
