Objectives
1 To examine the molecular profiles and antibiotic tolerance mechanisms of P. gingivalis persisters. 2 To explore the effect of our newly developed nano-encapsulated chlorhexidine on P. gingivalis persisters. 3 To investigate the host response of HOKs and THP-1 and the underlying regulatory mechanisms in their crosstalk with P. gingivalis persisters.
