Objectives
1 To delineate the molecular details of how, and to what extent, the BART promoter is activated by NF-κB signalling in EBV infected NPC cells; 2 To characterize the role of LMP1 in regulation of miR-BARTs and Lnc-BARTs expression in EBV associated tumors through NF-κB signaling; 3 To define the spectrum and specificity of miR-BARTs and Lnc-BARTs involved in regulation of LMP1 expression and EBV latency in NPC cells; 4 To study the effect of downregulation of expression of EBV BARTs on EBV latency in NPC cells through intervention of NF-κB signaling with inhibitors and use of GapmeR to knockdown BART LncRNA in NPC cells.
