Objectives
1) To examine experimentally how the interaction between entitativity and competence affects the effectiveness of an intergroup apology. 2) To examine the mediating role of trust and perceived sincerity in the link between warmth and forgiveness, and the mediating role of perceived threat and likelihood of re-offense between the competence X entitativity and forgiveness link. 3) To manipulate experimentally warmth of invented groups to test the causal relationship between warmth and forgiveness.
