Objectives
1 Fabricate the Cu-doped ZnO by the PLD method, and characterize the structural and magnetic properties. Study for all the origins contributed for the FM. We aim to achieve fabricating ZnO:Cu film free of secondary phase and spinodal decomposition. 2 Experimentally study the influence of O-vacancy and Zn-vacancy towards the magnetic property by controlling the their concentrations. Also study for the influence of the free carrier concentration by Ga-doping and to understand the related mechanism. 3 Carry out theoretical calculation to understand the CuZn-intrinsic-defect complexes. Theoretical study will also be done to understand the observed phenomenon and exchange mechanisms.
