Objectives
1) To develop a robust motion segmentation method that segments a realistic dynamic scene into a static background, rigid parts of articulated structures and deformable shapes; 2) To develop a method for identifying position and type of joints linking rigid parts of articulated structures, and to construct kinematic chains such as human skeleton from the rigid parts; 3) To develop a solution platform for NRSFM, including a characterization of all solutions to 3D locations of feature points and physical models of deformation as additional constraint to resolve non-rigid motion ambiguity.
