Objectives
1 To construct powerful statistical tests for association and parent-of-origin effects for qualitative traits. 2 To derive powerful statistical tests for association and parent-of-origin effects for quantitative traits and in the X-chromosome. 3 To apply the proposed methods to analyze real data such as for rheumatoid arthritis in which significant imprinting effects have been observed.
