Objectives
1 To confirm the hypothesis that local application of strontium in the form of strontium enriched calcium phosphate bioactive cement leads to acceleration of healing of the tendon-bone junction in a rabbit rotator cuff repair model when compared with a negative control. 2 To confirm the hypothesis that local application of strontium leads to the reproduction of direct enthesis at the tendon-bone junction of repaired rotator cuff.
