Objectives
Ultimate objective: The ultimate objective of the project is to develop a user-friendly software package with a guideline book to • identify critical transport infrastructures, • evaluate the maximum impact of the infrastructure failure, UICP 6.0 Page 2 of 31 • determine the ranking of critical transport infrastructures systematically, and • build resilience of existing and future urban transport systems cost-effectively. The package is developed based upon optimization theory, network equilibrium theory and vulnerability analysis in the literature.
