(1) Production of monoclonal antibody against cadherin-17 (anti-CDH17) in mouse ascites (2) Development of orthotopic tumor xenograft mouse model using luciferase-expressing MHCC97L hepatocellular carcinoma cells (3) Testing of different treatment regimens using anti-CDH17 alone or in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs (cisplatin and epirubicin) in orthotopic tumor-bearing nude mice (4) Molecular studies of the tumor xenografts in the aspects of cellular apoptosis and cadherin-17-related cellular pathway using biochemical methods including TUNEL assay, western blot and immunohistochemistry and life-span study of treated mice (5) Publication of research findings in top-tier journal
