AbstractIt was found that there was a distinct response fluctuation when temperature was measured by thermocouple in a microwave field .Further experiments showed that such fluctuation was related to the action of microwave and the measurement intervals .Proposed in this paper is a method of proper temperature measurement by the rmocouple during microwave irradiation and the relevant mechanism is also elucidated.
