AbstractEastern and Western value systems and worldviews, as conceptualized in the FAITH paradigm and ACCESS practice principles in working with Chinese and Chinese American clients, will be contrasted in this presentation. Efficacy of the culturally congruent BMS model is proven to be statistically significant among cancer patients and elders with cooccurring depression and chronic physical pain.
