| Abstract | This article discusses the importance of the assessment process in a Knowledge Building Community (KBC). For this reason we report the following issues: 1) what is “evaluation” in its different meanings; 2) some models used in the assessment, from the difference between declarative and procedural knowledge to the “how people learn” model; 3) what we should consider in the KBC assessment process and 4) tools and methods to evaluate a KBC. |
