Objectives
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is often detected at advanced stage and inoperable, with systemic drug treatments being the major treatment options. Liquid-biopsy strategies e.g. circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) have attractive advantages as compared to the traditional tissue-biopsy. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the translational applications of liquid-biopsy in early detection and clinical management of HCC.
