1 To study the reaction conditions to induce intramolecular (4+3) or (3+2) cycloadditions of the S2-type substrates 2 To investigate the scope of electrophile in the intramolecular cycloaddition reactions of the S2-type substrates, including the tether length 3 To investigate the intramolecular cycloaddition reactions of the S2-type substrates with various dienes and alkenes 4 To investigate the intramolecular cycloaddition reactions of the S2-type substrates bearing aziridines 5 To explore the derivations and synthetic potential of the (4+3) and (3+2) cycloadducts 6 To engage in synthetic studies toward the tetraneurins and/or other natural products
