Objectives
1. To conduct a randomized controlled trial for a vigorous comparison between the new Let’s Play Intervention and existing Game Over Intervention for their efficacy in gaming disorder prevention 2. To use a longitudinal design with multiple time points for evaluating long-term sustainability of program effectiveness 3. To test the hypothesized program effectiveness using real-life outcomes for robust evidence 4. To implement a multi-method research that utilizes diverse methodologies with complementary strengths for comprehensive program evaluations 5. To adopt process evaluation to unveil valuable insights into the dynamic intervention mechanisms from the perspective of program users 6. To share best practice by detailing how practitioners can design, revise, and evaluate newly developed interventions in a systematic manner
