Objectives
1. To develop a digital diabetes prevention programme for Chinese overweight adults with pre- diabetes using behaviour change theory 2. To compare the effects of smartphone apps with and without a structured diabetes prevention educational programme on weight loss, insulin sensitivity, glycaemic control and metabolic profiles in overweight Chinese adults with pre-diabetes 3. We will also explore the relationship between user engagement and intervention efficacy
