Objectives
1 More aggressive approach to combat atmospheric turbulence and perhaps also the presence of cloud and haze on the transmission of photons used in long distance quantum key distribution. 2 To optimize the secret key rates of various qubit- and qudit-based quantum key distribution protocols based on the refined quantum channel model in objective 1 in realistic quantum-repeaterless situation by means of state-of-the-art techniques such as twin field, McDiarmid inequality and decoy state with more than three photon intensities.
