Objectives
Previous experiments indicate that thymoquinone relaxes blood vessels only at relative high concentrations (greater than 10-5 M), but at lower concentrations causes contractions which mask its vasodilator effect. It is hypothesized that thymoquinone may exacerbate vasoconstriction in patients at risk of cardiovascular complications.
