Objectives
We aim to determine the clinical usefulness of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as non-invasive real-time monitoring biomarkers for esophageal cancer (EC) at diagnosis, during, and after treatment. NGS analysis of CTCs will be used to determine the clinical utility for identifying genetic alterations as useful predictive biomarkers for metastasis and drug resistance.
