Objectives
To develop a cell-based therapy for central nervous system (CNS) myelin disorders through (i) derivation of oligodendrocyte precursors (OPs) from adult human bone marrow stromal cells (hBMSCs), and (ii) evaluation of myelin formation capacity of derived OPs by transplantation into a mouse model of congenital myelin disorder.
