Objectives
1 To evaluate the relationship between activity of the RAS with myocardial structural alteration (by calibrated IBS), myocardial contractility (by 2D speckle tracking stain analysis), Zva and arterial stiffening (with PWV) in patients with asymptomatic AS. 2 To determine whether blockage of the RAS by ARB for 1 year can slow the progression of LVH in patients with asymptomatic AS.
