AbstractIn this talk, we discuss an application of recent results involving sign changes of Fourier coefficients of cusp forms. In particular, we discuss their applications to the study of representations of integers by totally positive ternary quadratic polynomials. Part of this is work in progress, while another is based on joint work with K.C. Fung, with a specific application of the latter part in showing the halting of an algorithm to compute a supersingular elliptic with a given enfomorphism ring.
