| Abstract | Sub-divided housing unit is a housing problem in Hong Kong which is drawing the public attention. 199,900 Hong Kong population are living in such sub-standard living environment which become a significant in the social issue. Questionnaire was conducted in this dissertation among the people who are living in sub-divided unit to understand their reason why living in the sub-divided unit, their perspective towards public rental housing and their views toward the land use executed by the Government. This dissertation focused that whether the public rental housing is a solution to the problem of public rental housing in Hong Kong.
