AbstractPhase-matching is critical for coherent nonlinear optical processes, allowing nonlinear sources to combine constructively, resulting in more efficient emission. We experimentally demonstrate phase mismatch-free nonlinear propagation in a bulk zero index metamaterial. © 2014 OSA.
