| Abstract | The catastrophic Shenzhen landslide happened at 11:40 on December 20, 2015 at Guangming New Districty, Shenzhen, China (Figure 1). The landslide buried or collapsed 33 factory buildings, and led to 58 deaths, 19 missing and 17 injured (data at January 6, 2016). The speaker has independently investigated this landslide. In this seminar, Professor Yue will present various phenomena related to this landslide. Based on these phenomena, he will present the cause and mechanism of this catastrophic landslide. |
