AbstractVector soliton is obtained by using a fiber stretcher inside a dispersion-engineered nonlinear-polarization-rotation (NPR) mode-locked fiber laser. Fascinating real-time spectral dynamics of vector soliton is observed for the first time using dispersive Fourier transform (DFT).
