AbstractInfrared(IR) sensor was widely used in industrial, scientific and medical area. The currently IR sensors in IR camera are mostly temperature dependent, so that a cryogenic cooled system needed to maintain IR imaging system work.In nano material, carbon nanotue (CNT) based IR sensor has good performance in room temperature. However, the photocurrent in CNT IR sensor is especially small within range of nano ampere. In this paper, a high gain current to current converter was designed to read nano scale photocurrent in carbon nanotube based IR sensor. The results show that the proposed method can make the current response reach to 1uA, and make CNT based IR sensor available in infrared imaging system. © 2012 IEEE.
