AbstractThis presentation will consider the pedagogial possibilities of corpus-based learning in an English-in-the-discipline course to be fully implemented in the fifth year of the new dental curriculum at The University of Hong Kong. We will look at how specific corpora can be used to enhance teaching and students' academic literacy with specific examples taken from the Moodle course site. This presentation will address the concern about intensifying the process of experiential learning through exposure to dental English usage using the corpora.
