AbstractThe long-term success of an implant-supported prosthesis depends much on whether the implant was placed in its optimal position and angulation during surgery. Transferring the implant planning to the surgical site is always a challenge. In this lecture, various popular methods and surgical guides for implant placement will be revisited. New advances in implant surgery will also be discussed.
