AbstractManganese-enhanced MRI (MEMRI) and Resting-state functional connectivity MRI (RSfcMRI) were employed to investigate functional and structural interhemispheric connections in the visual cortex of rodent model. Our results showed that cortical connectivity measured with MEMRI and functional connectivity measured with RSfcMRI are well correlated and the results suggested that a close coupling exist between structural and functional connections in the interhemispheric visual cortex.
