AbstractOBJECTIVE: To study protective effect of Injection Ganmeiling on chronic hepatic injury. METHODS: The activity of AST, ALT and ALP in serum and histopathological change were determined in hepatic injury rats induced by CCl4. RESULTS: Ganmeiling obviously inhibited the rising of AST, ALT and ALP in serum. The histopathological examination showed that Ganmeiling could alleviate the condition of necrosis and the degeneration of hepatic cells. CONCLUSION: The results suggested that Ganmeiling could protect liver from hepatic injury induced by CCl4.
