AbstractSix new N-protected amino acid trifluoroethyl esters were synthesized by the catalysis of 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP). DMAP has shown high catalytic activity for the synthesis and significantly increased the yields of N-protected amino acid trifluoroethyl esters.
