AbstractThe blended mode of learning has become increasingly popular in higher education. The purpose of this study is to explore the pedagogical use of ICT in a blended learning context. Focusing on teachers' and students' experiences in higher education, we examine the following questions: What are the teaching approaches on pedagogical use of ICT across faculties? What are the students' experiences in engaging with different teaching approaches? The findings of four case studies suggest four teaching approaches, namely, online discussion, online resources for teaching and learning, enhancing course management and delivery, and supporting specific pedagogy. It is believed that these approaches are pedagogical practices in transition and provide empirical evidence to shed light on issues in the research of blended learning in higher education.
