AbstractThe data of the ultra-violet spectra and the equilibrium dialysis prove that both 1:1 systems of Ni(I)-HSA and Ni(I)-BSA have two strong coupling metal-centers with their LMCT bands showing a novel hypochromic effect. This effect is in consistent with the mechanism of dipole-dipole interaction between the electric dipole transition moments of chromophores.
